I bought this bed for my 5 year old for Christmas and she's too big for it. She has only slept in it a hand full of times. The slats broke because she jumped on it so they're not included. This bed is truly for ages 1-3 unless you have a toddler that's not active and doesn't jump in the bed. I bought the bed off of Amazon for $220. Because this bed needs slats, I'm selling it for $120 firm price. Slats can be bought on Amazon for 60 or less
